	Sylvabois MEN AND COMPANIES IN THE SERVICE OF WOOD
SYLVABOIS is a firm dealing with forestry site which was created in 1988. Its speciality is the forestry site of top quality hardwood logs: Every year, over 50.000 m3 of hardwoods are exploited : most of our felling areas coming from uncut trees, mainly purchased from national forests belonging to Western French Forests areas, Ile-de-France and Picardy. A progressive integration of the different activities has brought us to develop altogether varied businesses all linked to forest site.
	1- Forestry site Logs trade and exportation, as a complement of forest site.
	2- Sawmill Sawn timber production in unedged and square-edged materials in our 3 sawmills : the first one situated in Aisne – STB – is specialised in French Cherry and other hardwoods for decoration and furniture the second one is located in Marne – Scierie Huberlant – mainly works with Beech and Oak the last one is located in Normandie – Scierie Laillet - produces Beech and Oak Our 3 sawmills all benefit from the supplying force of SYLVABOIS. Simultaneously, they have developed a competitive industrial equipment.
	3- Stave Workshops : 2 production units : one located in Deux Sèvres, the other one in Marne, Both dealing with Oak planks issued from the best forests, in different grains, intended for the winery world.
